Chappy Alexia
We are incredibly grateful for the valuable role Chappy Alexia Hoffman plays at Buderim Mountain State School.

Our chaplaincy service has become well known in the wider Buderim Community and works alongside other not-for-profit groups, churches and local businesses to assist families in a holistic, individual approach. Chappy Alexia aims to be the friendly face who shows compassion and offers practical assistance to children and families, whatever their circumstances and walks of life.

The scope of the Chaplaincy program at BMSS has grown considerably over the recent years. Students and families present with different, often complex needs, from simply requiring a friendly, non-judgmental person to talk to, to calling for assistance with more involved, sensitive needs and difficulties.

Support Chappy!
You can provide valuable support for Chaplain Alexia Hoffman at Buderim Mountain State School in 2025.

Between 2012 – 2024, we raised over $250,000 from our local business and school community. This funding has facilitated two extra days per week for our Chappy at BMSS, enabling the chaplaincy program to be a vibrant and integral part of our school and community. This funding is additional to National Student Wellbeing Program (NSWP) funding.
As we welcome a new year, we need your help to continue the work of Chappy at our school throughout the year 2025 and beyond.
